The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary is a community-led conservation project based in Nelson, New Zealand. As the South Island’s largest pest-proof fenced sanctuary, we provide a safe haven for rare and endangered native species to recover and thrive. Alongside ecological restoration, we engage and inspire visitors, schools, and volunteers to connect with and care for Aotearoa’s natural heritage.
