154 Dunkleosteus

Long before dinosaurs walked the Earth, around 360 million years ago, Dunkleosteus swam through ancient seas.
Its head and chest wore thick bony armour, like a knight under the sea.
Instead of teeth, it had two sharp bone blades that sharpened themselves as the jaws slid together, strong enough to handle prey as tough as sharks.

Only the armoured parts have ever been found as fossils, so the rest of its body is still a mystery.
Scientists even debate its size, with recent estimates of about 3.4 to 4.1 metres.

EUGY Dunkleosteus brings that ancient champion to life, with an armoured head, blade-like jaws, a mottled olive-green body, a tall back fin and a sweeping tail.
