In the forests of Australia lives a bird with a voice like magic — the Lyrebird.
This incredible mimic can copy almost any sound it hears:
other birds, camera shutters, even chainsaws!
Every noise that echoes through the forest
becomes another language for the Lyrebird to speak.

But it’s not only their voice that makes them special.
They have a magnificent tail that fans out in a stunning display,
catching the light from the forest floor as if to say, “Here I am!”

And this model carries a little extra meaning.
We designed it in collaboration with the Royal Australian Mint,
to celebrate the Lyrebird as a true natural treasure of Australia.
Its elegant tail — inspired by both males and females —
is captured at its brightest and most brilliant moment.

We kept the body simple and focused all the detail on the tail,
so this becomes one of the easiest EUGYs to assemble.
Even first-time builders will quickly reach the moment of —
“Finished!”
