009 Giraffe

Among all living mammals, the giraffe stands the tallest.
Watching a giraffe can feel like watching a fashion model walk down a runway—
with its long, slender legs, graceful stride, and eyes that look as if they’re already wearing makeup.
Unlike most herbivores, giraffes boast bold patterns and colors
that make them stand out even in the dim light of an African dusk.
They are impossible to miss—for animals and humans alike.

But behind this elegant appearance hides surprising strength.
A fully grown male giraffe can weigh up to two tons
and run at speeds of up to 55 km/h (34 mph).
Most impressively, a giraffe’s front kick is so powerful
it has been known to kill a lion with a single blow—
like a hammer falling from the sky.

To capture this towering animal in EUGY form was a unique challenge.
The giraffe’s extraordinary height couldn’t be expressed with a single paper piece,
so we created special split parts to recreate its long legs.
That’s why the Giraffe EUGY is slightly more complex to build
than our other models—
a fitting tribute to one of nature’s most majestic giants.

Bring a Giraffe home.
Build wonder. Hold the wild in your heart.
