Kea are claimed to be one of the most intelligent birds by many scientists. Found in the Southern alps of New Zealand, they are a lover of new things and can use mischievous ways to obtain food. Also known to be ‘cleaners’ and alpine seed distributors, they play an important part to the ecosystem.
