Stop right there. You think you know this bear?
Sure, he looks like a cuddly marshmallows dipped in ink. But beneath that fluffy exterior lies a creature that defies all logic. He has the digestive system of a wolf but eats like a vegan. He doesn't roar—he bleats like a goat. And he has a secret weapon hidden in his paw that science couldn't explain for years.
Forget the kung-fu movies. It’s time to meet the real master of the mountains.
Say hello to the newest heavyweight champion of the EUGY planet: The Giant Panda.

ORIGIN & HABITAT
These monochrome marvels rule the misty mountain ranges of central China (Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu). They live high up in cool, wet bamboo forests—think of it as a natural spa resort with an all-you-can-eat salad bar. They are excellent climbers and swimmers, often found lounging in trees to survey their misty kingdom.
BACKSTORY
The Giant Panda is nature’s greatest contradiction. Biologically, they are carnivores with the digestive system of a meat-eater. Yet, 99% of their diet is bamboo! This means they have to eat constantly just to get enough energy. They are born tiny—pink, hairless, and about the size of a stick of butter (1/900th the size of their mum!). From these humble beginnings, they grow into the gentle giants we adore.

SUPERPOWERS
1. The Sixth Finger
Hold his hand (metaphorically), and you might notice something odd. Pandas have a "false thumb." It’s actually an elongated wrist bone (the radial sesamoid) that acts like a sixth finger. This superpower gives them the dexterity of a surgeon, allowing them to strip bamboo stems with incredible precision.
2. The Iron Stomach
Imagine eating wood for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Pandas do just that. Their throat has a special lining to protect it from splinters. While their gut is designed for meat, their gut bacteria have adapted to help them survive on a diet that would starve any other bear.
3. Cat-Eye Vision
Look into his eyes. Unlike other bears who have round pupils, Giant Pandas have vertical slits like domestic cats. This "night vision" superpower helps them forage for the best bamboo shoots even in the dark forest.

CONTRIBUTION TO NATURE
The Umbrella of the Forest
Pandas are known as an "Umbrella Species." By protecting the panda and its bamboo forests, we also protect thousands of other species that live there, like the Golden Snub-nosed Monkey and the Crested Ibis. Saving the panda means saving the entire mountain ecosystem. Plus, they spread bamboo seeds as they roam, keeping the forest healthy!
MEET THE EUGY PANDA
We’ve captured the Zen-like charm of this mountain master in our newest EUGY model!

The Bamboo Snack: He comes holding his favourite treat—a fresh stalk of bamboo, gripped tightly with that famous "sixth finger."
-
Chubby Perfection: We’ve recreated his iconic round shape and sitting pose, perfect for chilling on your desk.
-
Soulful Eyes: Look for the details in his eyes—capturing that gentle, cat-like gaze.
-
Fur Details: The contrasting black and white layers are designed to mimic his thick, woolly coat (without the real fur, of course!).
